Hi there! I stumbled on to this site a couple of days ago, and kept clicking on links that brought me here, over and over again. lol. I thought, maybe this is a site I should actually check out, so here I am. I'm in my mid 20's, live on the northern side of California and I have been slowly adopting a more open, natural life style. I listen to and play music, mostly prog rock, some metal, trance, jazz and classical. I love to laugh and love watching stand up comedians or funny movies. Other hobbies include, cooking, hiking, gardening, board games, arts/crafts, building misc things whether I know how to do so or not, lol, and many other miscellaneous things. I've recently started opening up to new ideas and methodologies which, in combination with life experience, is helping me understand a lot. I have learned that no one TRULY knows anything, so why commit to something so fully, that hate/frustration/death/etc is preferable to changing one's own mind? I went from owning a new house, new car, working a good job, being married and having money, to living on my own, with little money and few things about a year and a half ago. Even though life is a journey itself, I think it is filled with smaller, yet very important journeys and because of these life transitions, I have recently started the biggest and most important journey yet. So, here I am on this part of my journey, looking to meet similarly minded people. I've been interested in communal living situations and am working towards finding and living in one as well, so feel free to hit me up if you have advice or are looking for members. I'm looking for something that is oriented towards clean energy, complete self sustainability, efficiency, understanding and acceptance. Basically a non judgmental, open, caring, free community (off the grid completely or striving to eventually become energy independent) that fairly shares responsibilities, allows either solitary homes or shared homes/dwellings, lives as healthily and naturally as possible, but isn't afraid to employ technology wherever possible, as long as it can be done safely and cleanly. I'm sure there is a huge section on communal living, and I will be looking for it! Well, I guess that's about it for now. I'm really just looking to meet new people, grow and learn as a human being on this planet.
hey, reading your story, it seems like you have evolved a lot during the past year or so. Change is good, and I wish you to find a community that will welcome you and allow you to go further on the endless path of self-discovery.
