Don't know what to think of her. That interview actually went longer, for some reason its snipped. Some of the story got way way out there, drugged torture, way weird scenes... She plays the innocent victim in all that but it's a little hard to buy what with her turning it all into books and youtube videos.
She just comes across disingenuous to me.

Also, thats the only article I've ever read connecting Pickard with The Brotherhood. He and Skinner and the silo thing is never mentioned in the book.
I dunno, for whatever that's worth.

Wow I've watched her videos so many times. I had no idea she was stripper and lived in psychedelic paradise with a mad-chemist. Boy looks can be deceiving!!

I think I've seen this before; I don't want to click it because I don't want to encourage the attention whoring, exploiting, lying snitch.

This women is not someone to be respected. She seems like someone who had allot of baggage to start with. Thus why she was a goth stripper, and she hooks up with an abusive guy with baggage, as toxic people often do, they found each other. And now she wants to make a profit from her book talking about how a good man was thrown under the bus.

She can claim Pickard was no saint, maybe he was not. But everything I have read points to Skinner being the crazy one, the one kidnapping people and giving out toxic chemicals and not caring. Pickard has been busted before with a lab in the 80's, and I believe that is what she is referring to, the DEA was aware of him, but not during the 2000 bust

Her point about the highest levels of drug distribution being linked with the government is true, but I would think that applies more to drugs like coke or weed, which make allot more money. Most people are not interested in the psychedelic high, it's not for everyone, where almost anyone will at least try pot. Therefore a dealer can always sell it.

I know people often take the risk of producing drugs for money, but I would like to think people like Pickard still exist who believe in the magic of the substance. Someone who knows they could be giving someone the most meaningful experience of their lives, but maybe I am old fashioned.

    Interesting points of view, friends.
I guess I don't know where I stand on the whole thing. Is there any litterature on pickard's side of the story?

There are people like that up and down the line. There are some righteous and honest people out there. Not everybody hahaha, but some, maybe a few more than a few down the line. I wouldn't have any idea about the manufacturing end - surely some small growers, extractors, etc.

On that note, I have that exact mask.

I like it a little less now.

weed has got nothing to do with the government.

Coke and heroin import is the domain of the CIA, and congress has given this arrangement it's blessing, with a situation in which the CIA does not need to record profits or expenditures with contract employees.

weed is worth money, but is much more of a pain to smuggle, sell, and they don't like the honorable peaceful people who tend to like it, it's much easier to use highly valuable and addictive drugs that elicit violence in users and traffickers to make money and achieve social control.

I don't know too much about this whole story.

However, I feel compelled to say that I find her totally shaggable.

don't really know how to quote..anywho first matter she doesn't defend Skinner at all and says he was mentally unstable and a bad guy stating she was young and oblivious to these things because he was also a sociopathic liar that sculpted her young mind to what he wanted her to percieve him as but also wants people to know that maybe Pickard wasn't exactly the zen buddhist he tried to portray.

second matter im pretty sure she was referring to the heroin that the government tried to get Pickard to import..

lastly I want to make it clear I'm not defending her by any means just saying maybe read more carefully instead of throwing away things she says because you don't agree with your concieved notion of her.

I like your style my man. I'm also hesitant to jump on the ''everyone hate neurosoup'' bandwagon.

I'm not saying she herself isnt sketchy as all hell, but I'm saying she seems to be carrying the blame for this whole story and it's probably not all deserved at all. Afterall, she was just a young, dumb stripper that was picked up and influenced by those guys.

Very true. None of us know her, we all judge based on stories we have heard. I have always heard the family would not deal with Pickard anymore so he was forced to work with people like Skinner for bussiness, but who knows. Someone has filled the gap now for sure though.

Wow,that went over better than I thought it would. One reason I love hipforums, you guys are willing to take what people say into account even if it goes against what you think/thought..but yeah there's alot more to this story than I'm sure even she tells/knows..nobody but those closely involved will ever truly know every detail and the lies from the truths. All we can do is make assumptions based on what's out there, but yeah surely don't completely hate on her just because alot of people call her a narc/snitch/attention whore,if anyone in this whole story was a snitch/narc it would be Skinner and hell even Pickard was in cahoots with the DEA at some point, but since Skinner brought the lab to his silo without permission and invited the DEA inside to look around while it was there he's the biggest narc in this story, and I think it's pretty awesome she decided to write a book on her experiences with this whole group..gives us insight into one of the most profound, large and strange group of LSD chemists and distributors the DEA has ever busted,a little peek into the extremely underground clandestine world of high volume LSD production :END RANT: :)

and I also strongly believe these characters strongly influenced her young fragile brain because something similar happened with an ex-girlfriend of mine and one of my L dealers (in the sense he drastically altered her mind and perception of things as well as me and himself) who was also an "independent researcher" with organic chem degrees and access to a whole world of mind altering psychedelic drugs.
