"Creation Science" I don't know why this video has many dislikes, I found it quite entertaining and funny... and he sounds like Jimmy Stewart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up-0E4Qetfg"]100 Reasons Why Evolution is So Stupid - YouTube
That was really bad, i got into 12 minutes and it just turned into this guy rambling about how everything anyone has thought is "stupid" granted you don't have look at all the facts but honestly, no proof of the big bang? Mhm, not like red waves and blue waves, expanding from the point of the origin, He didn't get into human evolution but i bet he used the agruement "well if we evolved from monkeys why are their still monkeys"
This is really slow and annoying. And pretentious, despite utter stupidity-I'd LOVE to be able to debate him. He goes on about how he was asked to make a list of debate questions, and asks utterly "stupid" questions, he went on about how he asked fair questions, but never mentions how quickly they must have been shot down, as I surely could.... He's also using the bible, directly, as evidence against scientific ideas....
I literally LOL'd a few times. I watched the whole thing and my feeling was, everyone should see this guy. Man, his timeline is tight! 6K year earth, he believes the great flood was 4.5K ago and BEFORE that people and "dragons" were known to live 900 years! He repeatedly uses the classic creationist tactic of taking obsolete scientific theory and misinformation and spinning it as scientific fact or faithful belief, which simply isn't true. The only honest thing I think he says is that he admits to lying. I love watching these guys dig their own grave.
In a way what creationists and evolutionisst are saying are not very different. Creationsists believe some kind of evolution created God who created people and evolutionists believe that evolution created people who created God. Both agree that there was nothing at some point and that out of some divine fluke this lead to out being here.
I'm not even going to bite that hook. As a matter of fact, I have had all the stupidity I can handle for one day. I think I'll go outside rather than arguing over something that has SCIENCE backing it up and not FAITH. Evolution FTW
i can't be bothered to watch the whole thing.i'll just let this stand in for my response: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt2gHpqfZNA"]Horrible Histories Charles Darwin Evolution song - YouTube best children's TV in ages
lol I got about 3 seconds in where I saw "Kent Hovind" and stopped wasting my time. When I saw the guy for the first time a couple years ago, I thought it was a youtuber making fun of fundies. Agreed, funny, but in an agonizing way, much like the comment I got today from a person who was being completely serious, "Im not a scientoligist but even I know what a homosapien is...."
I just did a real life " lolwut? " when reading that. Kudos to you if you kept a straight face when you heard it being said.
i still say monkeys are miles ahead.hopefully some day humans will catch up, if only in intellect alone.i live in hope.:hide:
It was actually from someone through Facebook, and perhaps it was because I had just had 3 beers, but I literally laughed out loud for several minutes. The worst part of this is that that wasn't necessarily the dumbest thing said. This is what she was replying to: "The gay agenda has to stop, particularly in the schools. My grandson came home from school and said they were talking about homo sapiens in science class. We need to put a stop to this right now." http://griffindailynews.com/view/full_story/18718296/article-My-Two-Cents-May-25--2012
In the Bible it says that God has his own beggining and his own end. That somehow indicates that he was not always there or was there as a result of some beautiful, divine fluke and maybe that he will not always be there. That does contradict other parts of the Bible that indicate that he is imortal, but that would not be the first one. Either way both believe in the world coming because of some strange fluke.
