what's up in the Kootenays this summer?

hi. i'm planning on spending some time in the Koots and Okanagan this July and August. i'm already planning on the International Accordion Championship in Kimberley, which ought to be good for some psychedelic fear and loathing, and Coyote Hot Springs north of Nakusp. but i'm looking around for other events, fests, or just some great unknown places to camp. any ideas?
