Sometimes a lonesome oldwolf howls before he again ghosts away into an invisibility where he most feels at home. And so let me howl at the moon, a song that I have not sung for many a long year, here in the communal forum. You see this place seems more to be for those with hopes and aspiration most often left at just that, or as a stirring of the hot winds that many word but no actions might bring; instead of the heartlifting tales of people doing and sharing that we first hoped it would be back there in the dim beginnings. Back then I shared more often, hoping our dreams might spur us to action (for many were dreaming and working toward making it happen a time of working at the forge of creating and sharing with those of like mind); but so seldom have I seen it occur. .*sigh* Even I myself have felt it and languished on the tides of hoping it would happen....seems like I put my life on hold to gestate and give birth to it....but t'was a fey vision....and who know just how much learned in that land, is real. Sometimes we so forget that in order to see if it is to Be we must first DO and then let the synchronicities show us the Way for that time. Yah for myself I so much did not want to do it solo for the community...felt it should be a community thing and others would feel it would be mine (- with justification) if I was the one that built it all....and then what, just turn it over to a bunch of whining co-dependent little brats (oops my take on the current denizens of this society).....no the whole purpose is the journey and what happens along the Way And so I asked others to come Way-share together. I have never believed in talking too much, preferring that people see more from my actions than my words (and that too my friends is a mistaken concept - seems many people are too tuned into number 1 and what they deserve and are owed or can get for doing nothing....not people I want to share with - than are willing to be open and attentive - Aware - and See what IS, not just what's in it for them). (AND erhem ...could be that they cannot "see" actions in the electric media....hmmmm?- ...oops sorry, must try to see beyond) And so I referred to a private forum where my own attempt and sharing of insight into this old fart (windbag) might be found without taking away from the stories of others. And for those willing to follow down the tale...it was all told....what so many want , might have, what they do to keep it going ....and how the hope of others sharing dwindles and when finally the dream is set aside so that another dream also left unfulfilled might blossom even as this one of community is left unfulfilled. (links in signature: first, to journal; and second, to personal forum) I look to selling a large piece of the land to finace traveling, before I get too old to enjoy it. And I don't write this to say O poor me...it has been a wonderful joy to be with the land. I write this so that some might see how so much more important Doing is than talking....and sharing my own story via my forum as I prepare to move on, putting the nomad back into the hermit. Not gone yet, nor has the land been sold yet: and so much of what I've learned says - after it's happened it's happened, not before.....building on shifting sands is never wise. This story will go on...though my words become more sparse. Into the Becoming Stepping anon into the brink Forever the fool - knowingly so.... for when we stop dreaming and walking toward it we never get to fly off through the abyss into worlds far fairer than what many seem to perceive here. For those still here with whom I've met and shared, Blessed Be ! But for so many who have left, not finding here people who would share their dreams, who inspired those of us still trying; o how I wish we had exchanged more our particulars and might have stayed in contact (but so many do not want the pain of looking at what did not come to pass).... [I only wish we had archived the early days here on these forums when the hopes and visions had a bit more fire and oomph in them .... back then a high percentage of our communication on these boards were about joining together in community...., but they were lost in the crashes back when and we lost the first 5 yrs or so - way back before personal forums existed here] ,,, to you - Namaste (my spirit bows to your spirit). And always remember the only thing that can never happen is that which is never attempted.
