Roadtrip

So my friend and I decided that we are going to take a road trip to wherever the rainbow festival is held this summer. It is going to be a long car ride and I was just wondering what all you hippies would bring on a road trip and to the rainbow festival! I have already started a list....

1. a canteen
2. cigarettes
3. booze
4. some tunes (jefferson airplane....CSN....etc)
5. beads to make people bracelets to hand out

any help would be appreciated!

toilette paper...lots of it
dry food-stuff that needs no cooking-lots of it
rain gear-it always rains in the rain forests
biodegradable soap so you dont have to be a ''dirty'' hippie
condoms-lots of them [lol]
huge garbage bags-a whole bunch that can double as rain gear
gas can full of gas

 

drugs
extra cash hidden somewhere incase you lose your wallet or apmething

the gas can is for both running out of gas on the way in which case it can be empty and use as yoiu need it...or for if you run out of gas on-site because you ran the car all night on account of you were too drunk to remember to shut it off......

a good knife[folding]
roll of duct tape for emergency
small first aid kit
sunblock
some kind of bug repellent [very important]

you can buy a small travelling water filter for camping for about 25 bucks and then you dont need to bring bottled water into the site..make sure you have a large water container to fill up on the way in if you dont buy a filter..those folding water bags are amazing and hold a shitload of water

you cant over pack for this event because people show up with nothing and mooch off others in the spirit of sharing[mooching]

 

yea thats a bit of a problem since my car is tiny..I definitely have to pack light!

Yes, pack rollingalong in the trunk. But seriously, packing light is best even if you'd have big car! You just have to pack the right stuff

I bring a satchel or small back pack for side trips like exploring or hitching to town.
First Aid kit in a pouch w/little bottle of hydro peroxide. Fleece hoody, rain coat,. And a big cooler for ice and water.
