Unprecedented Wave of Railway Suicides Hits France

Twelve people committed suicide on French railways between Saturday June 2nd and Monday June 4th.

In one of the incidents, a 34 year old man leapt to his death with his 19 month old baby. They both died.

That happened in norwood outside philly three girls committed suicide then two others the same place sad

 

I wonder if these 16 people were connected in some way, like maybe this is part of some sort of suicide pact.

But seriously, it says everyone who witnessed, or had a friend who knew a guy who witnessed these suicides had trauma. I think these people need to get over themselves, theres tons of deaths everyday, but these people all act like drama queens and its all about them. I think its really terrible though that that oned dude took a child with him.

 

I think it is different when you hear that someone died, than when you actually see people ripped in front of your eyes.

I would agree, but I highly doubt that any of the passengers even seen or knew about the suicides until the train had stopped afterwards. Now the conductors, sure i guess, I could see them having some legitimate trauma.

must be dreadful to witness someone taking their own life but i would imagine that the family and friends of the people who comitted suicide will be the ones who will suffer a lasting and profound effect of this. i feel for them all.
for the commuters it was merely an inconvenience and something to grumble about and i was totally shocked to read that the majority of French web users who commented on the suicides seemed more concerned by the traffic delays than the deaths themselves.

 

dont people care about people anymore? its a sad day in my opinion when any death is treated as a means to have a cheap jibe or quip about aliens or zombies. where are the values of respect and love for others?
