I have a few paintings listed on Art 3000 and today I received an email from Sophie Farmer. The Art 3000 web site lists this person as a scamer. The following is the scam warning listed on the Art 3000 web site. May 31, 2012: SCAM WARNING. Some of you may have received a message titled "Artworks Inquiry..." from Sophie (sophiefamer@yahoo.com). The message says: Hi, Hope this message finds you well. I saw these creative works on your website and i will like you to get back with more details if they are still available for purchase. [ list of artworks here ] I will appreciate an urgent reply. Best Regards, Sophie Famer Please be advised that the person sent similar worded message to 25 members of Art-3000 before his/her IP address was blocked. The IP address of that person was previously used to spam other sites. It's very likely that the message is scam.
