Sometimes, when listening to good music, I get a very intense feeling of euphoria. Usually when listening to The Byrds, Creedence, or the likes. I just feel as if the world is in tune with my body, and I feel free and happy. Am I onto something or am I just weird?
I love listening to "someday never comes" by CCR. The entire song is so intense to me, it raises the hair on my arms, and i get that cold shivery twitch shake thing real fast. The lyrics are just so intense to me I totally know what you mean
It's so intense, this is back when real music meant something. Instead of songs about colors like Black And Yellow, They're all different stories.
Yea i feel you man I want to start a band, influenced by the great artists such sa the beatles, CCR, the grateful dead and such. Revive real music. Maybe one day, people will be posting my lyrics as their facebook statuses
Wow you guys trip me out. What heads. Cool. "I get a very intense feeling of euphoria. " "this is back when real music meant something." Wow. Heavy! Love you guys, can I hang out with you? Maybe you have never heard this. I would love to turn you on. This is a song that I put in another forum thread. This is for you guys. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=451310 Third posting with the YouTube. Enjoy
I get intense feelings when listening to the Dead and String Cheese Incident sometimes. It feels like I'm experiencing emotion in it's purest form. As they say, "Music is what emotions sound like." Sometimes, I even get tingling sensations around the top of my head. Most times, it's on the right hemisphere, sometimes the left or other areas tho. It's pretty cool to know other people experience this. I wonder if people have ever done studies long term with musical experience. There could be some benefit or healing factor that goes with this.
I can honestly say that without music, I probably would not be alive today. Music made my life turn completely around.
If the moment's right and the music's cranked up loud, I get that feeling too. There's nothing like it.
Well, yeah. Allman Brothers are the go-to band for me. There are plenty others though, it's just that not many others deliver consistently, 100% of the time (for me - this is all subjective)
No that is so not weird. I completely understand. I get that feeling especially when I am at a small concert in the front row listening to a good band. I believe there is nothing better than music.
"this is back when real music meant something." As long as songs have lyrics, there are infinite metaphors to dig deep inside of. . . . . nothing is holding back modern music but our perceptions.
This song packs a punch for me. Suffocating .. can't breathe .. trembling, tears in my eyes. Excellent intensity and majesty. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndQKMjh6vgc"]My Best Friend's Wedding Original Score - 14. My Best Friend's Wedding Suite - YouTube
