There is way too much good music for me to stop and put on netflix and pass out. Sympathy for the Devil is playing right now. And it's being followed by a great list of music. What's your favorite song from the 60's era?
Journey to the Center of the Mind... There's a lot more and some are much better songs, but you asked for a favorite. This was the one that got me started on that path...
I'd have to say I have about 3 favorites. Somebody to Love Here comes the Sun For what it's worth You should already know the artists
What are you listening to this music on? Radio or something? I can't really say what my favorite is, but one that I like a lot right now because I'm learning how to play it is A hard rain's a gonna fall by Bob Dylan.
I was more of a garage band guy back in the day. I liked "We Ain't Got Nothing Yet"- Blues Magoos, "Friday On My Mind"- The Easybeats, "Double Shot Of My Baby's Love" Swingin' Medallion, and how about this one... "Tomorrow" by the Strawberry Alarm Clock. The Animals had an album in '68, "Winds Of Change" on it was "Anything". Good stuff. These days I still listen to some 60s stuff without any thought of nostalgia. Stuff like the Stones, "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" and a number of Santana's early instrumentals, like "Samba Pa Ti" and "Soul Sacrifice".
Great '60 songs? Just go page after page in the Happy Hippie House Party, forum. People there are listing only the best ever. Go dance through that space. You can't do better in this world. Net Flicks??????? Sad Face
