Today's my birthday, and I just want to say a few things. I'm happy that I get to experience what some cannot, the love of a mother, the happiness of life itself. My 18 years has had it's up's and down's (Mostly downs.) But I'm glad I got to experience sadness, anger, and happiness. Only because it makes me human, and I love that. I wish most weren't so blind to see the true beauty in nature, life, and what we consider to be life. To be able to feel the grass in between my toes, and to smell the morning fresh air, and thank the mother earth for permitting me life. My mother has always been there for me, to fight for me, to care for me, and to love to me. To be honest, there isn't another person I'd rather spend 18 years of my life with, I love you mom. My friends have always turned my frowns upside down, even just by being near me when I wasn't in a good mood, and tolerating my hyperactive behavior. I'm glad I got to see nature for what it is, a beautiful thing that should be conserved as much as possible. I'm also glad I got to see life for what it is before I go out into that big world all alone. Life has it's up's and down's, but you just have to think that- 1. You can walk. 2. You can see. 3. You can feel, and hear what's around you. 4. You can smell the wonderful morning air. Why? Because some aren't able to do these kinds of things. I don't think anyone should take life for granted. Life is short, so do as much as you can before you die. Much expect perfection out of life, but most of us know that perfection can not exist. But near-perfection does, and that's what everyone needs to try to achieve when living life. I want to thank the wonderful mother earth for granting me life, even though it didn't have to.
