Brought back an animal cracker with 2.5 hits on it from Bonnaroo. Decided that a week later would be a nice summer trip.

I dosed at 4:50 so i'm right in the middle of it.

I'm definitely tripping, but can obviously still type.

I walked around town a bit, bought some cigs, got some taco bell, and browsed around some shops. But believe me, i'm definitely tripping. The last time i dosed was last April. It's obviously apparent, yet i seem to have a coolness about it, since i've navigated this space many times before and have gone through many bad experiences. But i've also gone through many good ones, and i'm floating quite well right now.

Just thought i'd share with some tripping buddies via the cyber world.

Taco Bell is not really food.... Just sayin'

Anyways... OT: cigs never bothered me as I'm an avid smoker of just about anything that burns, but I would never be able to handle fast food, or any food on 'cid... If it was good 'cid I wouldn't even be going into stores much at all. But that's me and the doses I used to be into.

Haha yea the Taco Bell wasn't the greatest on acid, but cheap and i was only on the come up at that point. Cigs are a good way to occupy my time as i'm wandering around tripping. It was a relatively light trip but i enjoyed it.

My cousin is a smoker and he said he just couldn't inhale the cig when on acid.

I had Taco Bell on acid once, before a Neil Young concert. There was a schizophrenic woman sitting in the restaurant arguing with herself loudly and smoking a cigarette indoors. Customers would walk in, see this lady yelling to herself and smoking inside, and just walk out. The staff didn't know what to do with her, she looked homeless and she wasn't hurting anyone (besides second hand smoke). It was pretty interesting to say the least. Ah the joys of Toronto. God I hate that city. Walked away from a free Flaming Lips concert last night minutes before they were about to come on stage . . . just couldn't take it anymore, the filth, the drunk stupid crowds, the egos and police and all of it . . . the city is toxic. I'll gladly pay good money to see them in a proper place, free outdoor concert + big city = :ack2:

There was one night back in the Stone age or early Bronze age... It was a new years eve if I remember correctly, maybe Christmas eve, it doesn't matter. I had a large bag of Colombian gold, a somewhat smaller bag of some red Colombian, a tin of Three Castles, and a bag of Drum (the last two are rolling tobacco if you didn't know). I was at this girls house... She was just a sitter, we didn't interact much. All night long, until the sun came up I was constantly rolling and smoking one after another of any of those above mentioned burnables...

Her house must have reeked for months after that.

haha i can imagine with a bag of tobacco and a supply of papers, that in itself could become the focus of a trip.

It did... That wasn't the plan, but that's what I came prepared to do.

that must have been pretty wild being around a schizophrenic while you are tripping on acid. Can't even imagine what that was truley like.

That's a shame about Toronto man. Consider moving to Chi-town or something. It's definitely my favorite big city that i've been to. I went to Toronto when i was little but haven't been there in the modern day.

I feel the same way about Lollapalooza. Obviously not a free fest, but the combination of big time names mixed with the big city just turns me off for some reason. Everyone is drunk and it gets so god damn congested and packed and you can't move. And this year the tickets sold out super quick. So it's really gonna be thick with people. Glad I'm skipping on it this year. I love Chicago and all but Lollapalooza just isn't worth the money.

I think the ailments i see in Toronto will likely be manifest in any sufficiently large city. I think it comes down to packing in x number of humans into y amount of space. throw in a vast economic gradient and you've got your typical metropolis
