(It doesnt work anymore but the scanner i have covers that range) Police Scanner? - I got my first scanner in the 80s and although i dont have the same one,i have one... (AOR-8200 (3rd release)) Cell phone? - Dont have or want one High definition TV? - Dont have or want one Strobe light? - I used to have one,dont anymore though.... (I think it broke)
Camcorder? - i've never had one. back in the late 80s/early 90s my grandparents had one that they let us borrow for a while, so there are a few embarrassing home movies of my childhood out there. Cassette player? - i have no idea. earlier than my ability to form memories i guess. CD player? - fourth grade i believe. right when i finally started to take an interest in music. MP3/digital audio player? - never had one. VCR? - pretty much always had one as far as i can remember. LaserDisc player? - has anyone that wasn't a classroom ever actually owned one of these? DVD player? - never owned an actual dvd player, although i got a ps2 sometime in late high school which had the ability to play dvds. DVR? - never had it Blu-Ray? - does ps3 play blu-rays? if so, i got one of those probably about 3 years ago. if not, never. GPS? - i'm of the 1% who can read a damn map. Shortwave radio? - never. Police Scanner? - never Cell phone? - my mom got me a tracfone as soon as i got my driver's license in case of emergency. i believe my senior year of college (2005-06) was when i actually got a regular cell phone. High definition TV? - christmas last year, after my regular tv finally died in october or november. Strobe light? - never, although one of my college roommates had one so i did have access to one for a year.

My brother actually had a shortwave in the 90s. He used it to listen to right wing conspiracy people on it. He also listened to this preacher, and one time he went to the preacher's commune and he realized it was a cult so he stopped listening to the short wave. Police Scanner? -never had one Cell phone? - when I got my license. My mom wanted me to have one; it was a pay as you go and it had 400 minutes on it which lasted me like a year. High definition TV? - my tv is an antique.Its built into a groovy cabinet and everything. I doubt i'll be upgrading to HDTV anytime soon. Strobe light? - I had one in 9th grade. I used to dance around my room to it, but it always made me dizzy after a minute. I started to think I might be prone to seizures around flashing lights so i stopped using it.
AOR was a damn good radio ..i wanted one but they were too expensive and by the time i could afford one everything here changed to encrypted EDACS anyway

aside from my computers capabilities i have none of those except an mp3 player, and i'm not a fan of it. all it does is encourage me to listen to the same music again and again which i am very much against
I'm only 20, almost 21 at this point, so this might be a little pathetic, but the 90s still had a little bit to offer... Camcorder? - First time I got a camera phone? Cassette player? - In the 90's when people still used those ones you clip onto your belt and use headphones for (before those little earbuds were used much) CD player? - Walkman, baby MP3/digital audio player? - I was 12, iPod became my life, good thing I snapped out of that inanimate object attachment. VCR? - When I was a baby I got one. Came home to watch The Aristocats on that everyday after kindergarten! LaserDisc player? - I'm not even 100% sure what that is? DVD player? - When they first came out I got one. Funny, this big old thing probably cost more than the slick, quiet little ones they sell now. It still works, I still use it. DVR? - Ummm, what? Blu-Ray? - Waste of money. GPS? - Have it on my phone, I am one to always get lost, no good navigation skills. Shortwave radio? - Never had one. Police Scanner? - Never had one, but I could use one. Cell phone? - When I was 13, my grandma likes to make sure I'm safe in case of an emergency, cell phones are so great for that. High definition TV? - I still have a box TV it works so I'm sticking with it. Strobe light? - I used to have one when I was a kid, along with lava lamps, disco balls, black lights, and those electric balls that attract to your finger. I love that stuff.
Ahhh, I remember my first Walkman, carrying a portable cd player around on your belt that was too big to really be portable and used to skip all the time, and of course one had to carry around a dozen cd's in your backpack as well
Camcorder? - my dad had one when I was little. It was held together with duct tape. Cassette player? - They were always around but I got the first one that was MINE around 1991 when I was 6. I remember because my first tape was Milli Vanilli. CD player? - Christmas of 94 or 95. MP3/digital audio player? - 1st generation iPod in 2003. Now I have my iPhone and I'm constantly listening to music from it. Whether mp3s or pandora. VCR? - before I can remember LaserDisc player? - Never. I've seen the discs in vintage stores, but I've never even seen a player. DVD player? - 1998 I think. Around then DVR? - Parents got one when they were first introduced. I now hate commercials. DVR usually the only way I watch tv. Blu-Ray? - about 3 years ago. GPS? - Got an iPhone about 6 months ago. CB radio would fit into this list better. Or one of those giant satellites that move around.
