Oh man it's hotter than Satan's toenails ! I mean it's freakin miserable ! I think most of me leaked out today in a pool of blood sweat and tears . Humid as shit ! This really sucks goat balls ! And no relief in sight yet . Another 3 days at least . God , help us all . I''m not working outside tomorrow, fuck it ! You can only kick a pack mule so much , before he kicks some bitches in the nads and runs of with the last of the water . Of which was in limited supply ,like their running a pack of freakin camels . Make sure you're drinking PLENTY guys and take breaks . This heat can and will kill ! Heat stroke ain't no joke .

I was cutting my logs for my loghouse outhouse. But i did stop the outside work around 9:30 am when the sun hit us. I then went into my old basement and finished connecting up my water line from the wellhouse. That allowed me to put my floor stones down and prepare to mortar them in place tomorrow. Its plenty cool down my basement of this old house built in 1820. The first floor only got to 80 degrees and with some water poured on our clothes the evaporation keeps you plenty cool.

 

Yes when i was living in the redwoods in N. Calif humboldt county in 2006 we had 3 days of 115 degrees and i had to use a umbrella just to walk in the sun and i had to water gardens 3 times a day to keep them from drying up. Here i have mulch down and its still soaking wet under it.

Yeah its supposed to stay humid as motha till this weekend. I got an ac unit today which is heaven..

I need A/C in the in the studio, but I don't see it happening very soon.

 

I've been particularly whiny about the heat this year and it's nothing compared to last year when it was over 100 nearly every day from Memorial Day until mid-August. And 121 in Phoenix, eh? They tell me I'm in for a big surprise when I visit Vegas in July. Thank god the car we are taking has air conditioning. lol

I have central air.. but when it comes to work.. all that goes out the window.. ya'll know nothing bout heat until you gotta cook in a kitchen in this kind of weather

Just back from walking Grace (dog) at the park. Have the AC on and fans running also. If I don't move too much it is just about comfortable.
