A couple of years ago, I started living much more primitive life. It was what led me ton going barefoot or wearing Vibram Five Fingers most of the time. I have lost 60 lbs, gained strength and feel better than any other time in my life. I'm in my mid-50s and in better shape than I was 20 years ago. Reducing or eliminating carbs, particularly processed carbs, including more "good" fat in your diet (lard, butter, coconut oil, etc) and questioning Conventional Wisdom or CW which is pretty much you hear from the big Pharma-Medical community on what you need to do to take care of your self and also turning your back on the FDA food pyramid.
