my dealer hadnt been answering his phone all day and hes the kind of guy that replies right away. i finally got ahold of him the next day and he txtd 'whos this' bla bla then he told me he doesnt sell anymore...sucks. so i txtd my friend and i gave him ten bucks in change to get me a sack at like 12 in the afternoon. he comes back around six o clock. he gave me like a handful of shake and a nug. i cant do this forever, i gotta find a new ddealer. i miss my old one he had the joog forsure.
money talks bullshit walks.. if you cant find a dealer looking for dimes and dubs.. talk zips, oz, qp'..

I've been paid by a combination of check and change before. It's a serious pain, but for nice people, I cut a little slack.
I was paid with steaks once.. couple of porter house steaks... for a 1/4g of yayo.. crackheads will give you anything for a hit

Change better mean quarters or halves, rolled up neatly and containing the correct amount per roll. I wouldn't sell to you either, and you will never have a "dealer" that will stick around for you, trying to pull that shit. You pay ten bucks CHANGE, and you expect more than a nug and shake a few hours later? TEN BUCKS FUCKING CHANGE, man.... considering what you paid in, you got the hookup.
If you have to pay for a dime bag in change, you probly shouldnt be buying weed in the first place. Jus'sayin. And it probly took your buddy so long cuz he had to find someone who wouldnt laugh at and/or assault him..
I remember i paid in change once... not to long ago actually I was at school, and this guy sitting infront of me in class (ironically enough it was Law class...) turned around and was like "dude, i got some cotton candy kush in my car, want some?" and obviously the answer was yes... but i only had a $50 bill in my wallet... and he didn't have any change to brake a 50... and so i go into our schools office and ask them for change and give them the 50, and the secretary just looks at me and is like "why do you need change for a 50..?" and i'm so stupid that i didn't even make up a story before i walked in... and so i was like "uhm... well... the store doesn't accept 50's anymore.." and she's like "what store?" and i'm like "oh, just some corner store down the road..." and she's like "well why do you need it now? shouldnt you be in class?" lol after a long discusion... she gave me change for the 50... but she ended up giving me a shit load of toonies.... so i paid in toonies..
All this advice is pretty much just shitting on you for being a teenager and giving long term solutions so I wouldn't blame you if you lost interest quickly. That said if your still around; ask your old connect for a number, they usually have friends, other dealers or even their connect that they can hook you up with; it usually just comes down to their willingness to help you and whether you were a good customer. Another (albeit obvious) idea is to ask your friends, smoking buddies or even people you know who do harder drugs; they usually have a connection they can rely on and will often help you out as far as getting a meet set up. Remember that dealers are often the most paranoid people around so vouching is the strongest weapon you have. Finally, although it's been said 100 times already, try and avoid paying with change if you can. I know the feeling on the end of the week scrounge to try and get a dime together but it really lowers your stock as a customer in the eyes of legit dealers. If you are a good customer you often find the kindness and professionalism is returned and you might be able to avoid this whole "no text backs" situation.
