Wow, Ive been listening to some of their shit from the 80s for years now. I just saw them at a festival this past weekend and WOW. Some of the most psychedelic, mind bending, face melting jams I have heard. Ill probably type up a report soon, but if you can, go see this band. Its really cool too, that Eds son is jamming hard with them and hes only 22? i think. Also wanted to add, anyone feelin this shift in the past couple months? I feel like we were in a rough spot for a while, whether if you were aware of it or not. Not just on the forums, im talkin about everyone.
I was in a rough spot the last few months. Few family deaths and some injuries, work sucks . . . getting better though If I could have the music of only one group for the rest of my life, or just for tripping purposes, it would likely be Ozric Tentacles. You are so lucky to have seen them live. I've been listening to them a lot lately, been a big fan for years. Best jams ever. Such a vast discography.
Yeah, I can definately feel things turning around. The shit they played was so out of this world, nothing like the stuff I had previously heard from them. Really awesome, im going to see them every chance I get.
Same here, the past few months were rough and it's now unravelling in the right places. I also agree Ozric Tentacles is an extremely good band and I am very jealous you got to see them live. I bet it was amazing.
Prone, did you see Ozric Tentacles at Madsummer this past weekend? I was at that fest too and their performance was fucking incredible. I'd never heard of them and the show literally blew my mind several times over. Definitely a good night indeed.

While I haven't been here in a while, so I don't know have the boards have been but I agree. Past few months have been very rough, but recently things are looking up. Never heard of this band, will check them out.
i saw ozric tentacles at a local venue a few years ago. the show was pretty cool, but the crowd was small. some band members even came down into the crowd some because the show was so small. that sounds awesome prone would love to see them at a fest.
the crowd here was huge. Well not HUGE like at most comercial festis but def huge for this venue. This year I can whole heartedly say this was the best music festival I been to, and the ticket was only 70 bucks for three days. And I been to tons of the big ones where tickets are 200+
