what is the exact Phosphorus to Potassium Ratio? Conventional wisdom says that it should be approximately one to one. Let me know your views?

I just spread wood ash thinly and let compost do the rest. Trees have essential nutrients in balanced proportions, and wood ash supplies those nutrients in roughly balanced proportions. A little too much typically does no harm. Some plants are hungrier for potassium and magnesium, such as tomatoes.
