Jack, I'm buckling down for a hot weekend in the south. Well into the 100's. That brew and a San Francisco front porch is about as good a plan as I can think of. Maybe a little weed and a backyard barbeque. Maybe Ty can play for us.
A keg or two of San Francisco's own Anchor Porter and some fresh 'salad greens' from the Emerald Triangle up north?

:cheers2: Hi Ranger - I see SF pORTER around here once in awhile- -what other micros are out there? I like a reddish brown lager- The porter seems like a stout dark flavored brew- but Im sure I can get used to it -
That come to mind are Anchor Steam Beer and some of the Redtail brews ftom up Mendacino way. The micros that weren't home brews were just starting up when I left 7 or 8 yeears ago. Achor Steam Brewry is an old San Francisco tradition the preservation of which the last I heard was the pet project of Fritz Maytag. The do bring out a special Christmas Lager each year.
