Thank you... I think you're right. I used to think crying was a sign of weakness, you know?
Now it just seems the right thing to do, when all else fails...

Mostly vegetables and herbs in the garden, but there are roses, geraniums and fuschias and my favourites, snapdragons. I'm knitting socks.

Hey folks- Nice day up north- - I was thinking, I was 37 yrs old when my kid was born- He,ll be 25 soon- - Sure would be kool to be a grandpa, but he is happy just dating - nothing serious yet
Maybe I'm just jealous- (Not really- my dating days are long gone-)
Ok- Enuff of Jacks personal shit- Iwas just was thinking out loud- - Just keepin it real Tiger, ya know?
Tomorrow,s Friday!!- -Anyone think up some plans for our crew? I know I have no plans- so I'm up for just about anything- - However right now I'm up for a relaxing brew and a little..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiBvnbntiW8&feature=related"]The Velvet Underground - Sweet Jane.wmv - YouTube

I actually hung out with Lou Reed and Jim Carroll a few times on NY,s lower east side- Cant say we were tight, but a couple of real characters --- Jim Carroll I knew a bit better, he recently passed away (heart attack)- 2 really talented guys >>>>

Not a happy tune- Jim had a rough life and" talk about keepin it real!"- wrote the basketball diaries,& often wrote of his dysfunctional life-

    Jack,
I'm buckling down for a hot weekend in the south. Well into the 100's. That brew and a San Francisco front porch is about as good a plan as I can think of. Maybe a little weed and a backyard barbeque. Maybe Ty can play for us.

A keg or two of San Francisco's own Anchor Porter and some fresh 'salad greens' from the Emerald Triangle up north?

    :cheers2: Hi Ranger -
I see SF pORTER around here once in awhile- -what other micros are out there?
I like a reddish brown lager- The porter seems like a stout dark flavored brew- but Im sure I can get used to it - :)

That come to mind are Anchor Steam Beer and some of the Redtail brews ftom up Mendacino way. The micros that weren't home brews were just starting up when I left 7 or 8 yeears ago. Achor Steam Brewry is an old San Francisco tradition the preservation of which the last I heard was the pet project of Fritz Maytag. The do bring out a special Christmas Lager each year.
