Barefooting for (GASP) Fun

  1. Yes, yes, all the stories about anxieties and getting kicked out and disapproving Significant Others and fetishes and---

    Hey, gotta lighten up!

I love to barefoot on sunlit black macadam (I'll probably regret it later), rainy streets, dust, mud, and supermarket floors (mmmmmmmmmmmm!).

OK---who else likes to barefoot on what???

I love being barefoot in the woods/forest etc, mentally it takes me away from the 'modern' state of living.

Smooth tile floors you find in stores. Cool wet grass and soft earth among the other places.

Most things that do NOT have sharp protrusions or nasty little rocks or acorn bits or something that hurt and get stuck to your feet when you pick them up. Badly paved parking lots and streets suck.

I love hot, dusty pavements and then the cool marble floors in museums and places.

Grass! The grass in the tropics is always really coarse and dry, I really miss walking in tall, fresh, green grass.

Anywhere smooth or soft is good with me. My bike has been out of commission for a couple days, so I've had to walk everywhere, on very bad concrete roads, and temperatures are 30 C minimum. I always BF, so my feet are tough, but they are hurting a bit just now!

  11. Had to do some food shopping after work, and what better way to turn a chore into an attraction: DO IT BAREFOOT!

Those cool and slightly dirty market floors certainly felt FINE on bare soles! (I may need to go back---I forgot to get.....)

Woodlands after torrential rain. So many different textures and mud, mud, glorious mud....

Closely followed by getting very dirty feet in my local Wilkinson's hardware store - they and Tesco have the dirtiest shop floors known to man...

@clayts, when I saw Woodlands and torrential rains and then Tesco, that threw me becasue I thought you were saying Woodlands Texas where they've had TORRENTIAL rains, to the tune of 6 - 9 inches over the last day or so, then I saw on your profile you hae Nottingham England.

One advantage of being a barefooter is when it is pouring down and people are trying to figure out how to get to their autos without getting their shoes wet, I pull mine off (when i'm shod) and plod threw the water. I have had other follow my example. :)

there used to be a guy that would run up and down the local county road barefoot all the time. people would always stop and ask him if he wants a ride and one time someone actually bought him a pair of sneakers. i never knew barefooting was such a thing at that time but looking back he must have been really annoyed by all these people trying to "help".
