I'm super pissed

I hate it when people that dont have kids try to tell me how to parent. They dont like the way i parent my kids. I may not be the best, but i feed them, cloth them, i do not beat them, or call them names. Before i had kids i always was judging parents, but when you do have your own you see very differently.Fuck you bitch!

 

You tell 'em crystal. I hate shit like that. I don't even speak out against what a parent does/says unless I feel it is really rediculous.

 

i agree with you but even though im not a parent, when i see people beating there kids, i have a huge prob. with that and tell them so.... (i know that's not what you are talking about though)

 

well yeah if someone is beating there kids i step in . i've even called cps on one. i know im not that bad i just get crabby and irrated easily, and if my kids dont mind me they go in time out or a lil swat. nothing else.


this 50 year old women who has never had kids is giving me the cold shoulder(like slamming doors around me and being short, very mature i must say) because she dosent like the way i parent. dumb ho.


ps i should ask her to babysit my kids for 8 hours and see how sane she is afterwards HA

 

yeah I know what you mean. Just as one example (i have alot) I have this aunt thats about 40 years old, never had kids, and she doesn't know the first thing about them. One of the nick names I have for my kids is dummy bear, and the first time I called my daughter that in from of Auntie her jaw dropped and she was like "I can't BELIEVE you would say something like that to your own kid!!"

I'm over there wondering wtf I said that was soooooo horrible she was forced to react like that. turns out Mrs. I've-never-had-kids-so-i'll-tell-you-how-to-raise-yours-instead thought my poor kid was gonna have psychological issues about me calling her "dummy".....even though I wasn't refering to her intelligence, or implying that she was in any way dumb.

 

yeah i just cleaned the house spotless because im so annoyed. grrrrr

 

because i got this information second hand, she was acting like a bitch so afer she left i asked her friend and he told me why... so i had to vent now!

At least you weren't my sister in law. This old woman felt it was right to slap my nephew's face because he grabbed her papers. (He was only 1 and half at the time) My sister in law freaked out and punched her nose which caused it to bleed. Cops were called and no charges were laid because if they charged the woman then they would have to charge my sister in law. My sister in law decided not to charge the woman cuz she didn't want to get charged as well. The old woman got what she deserved!!

I hate it when people think they have a right to displince or hurt other people's kids.

I'm guilty of this. When I see a parent at work do something wrong i usually copy a few pages out of a one of my old child psych texts and pass it along discretly. I have a vested interest in every kid at work and if I see someone misparent I feel like it is my job to inform them that there are other ways to deal with issues than demeaning. I am sure you are a great parent though, I am talking about parents who can't take complements about there kids or who have ridgid views on how children should act.

 

Try not to let it get to you. Especially people that dont have kids. Anyway havent most of us hated our parents at one time or another? Raise your kids with all the love in your heart and you cant go wrong!

 

I agree with you guys, I can't stand it when people w/o kids try to tell you how to raise yours. Whats even better is the person that has a kid or two and all of a sudden they are a fucking expert. I think that is one of the biggest problems in the world, people just can't mind their own fucking business.

I'm one of these people thats sort of wating to not mind their own business...I want to see someone really hitting their kid so I can stat a little fight...unfortunately this hasn't happened yet and it would have to be something really serious to actually get me to say something.

Generally I mind my own business, this is just some weird fantasy I have.
