the saying ' if you love someone you dont do that'

well this saying for this topic has to do w/ typical high school relationship drama where the guy cheats on or does something to the girl and the girl posts a million little heartbroken quotes on twitter and everything...and says if you love someone you don't do that....well I take it as he doesn't really love you like you thought he did or else he wouldn't have done it...? anybody agree with me?

i'm not sure that's a saying.

it's true though, if you love your friends you don't annoy the shit out of them with whiny drama posts on social networking sites.

 

But you're expecting your friends to read and commute, not random strangers.

 

nevermind the twitter part. I'm saying if a guy cheats and a girl has to say ' if you love someone you don't do something like that ' obviously he doesn't love her as much as she thought..?

whether or not he loves her as much as she thought pretty much depends on how much she thought he loved her.

in theory, someone who really loves their partner doesn't cheat, but reality is generally more complicated than theory.

 

I always felt that if I loved someone ( I have never felt this emotion) that I would brake up with them if the need for some strange was too great because I wouldn't want to hurt them
