While I have a decent Bong at home its a real bother to be carrying about with me. So I am looking to get a pipe from the local shop and I was wondering what I should go with. Blown Glass, Wood, Metal. Any suggestions?? The cheaper the better.

well if you want a one hitter, they sell the ones that look like cigarettes... they're good for a few hits and they go for like $5 bucks.

glass is awsome, but they break, so if u want 2 carry it around, then go with metal. Enjoy!

I recomend wood. It is good and sturdy. No matter what materiel, avoid prodrusions like a raised bowl. You want something that is blocky and won't catch on anything in your pocket. It can be real embarasing to pull out your keys and find that they have snagged on your pipe.

Also i'd like tpo point out, personally, i don't like taking hits out of metal and wooden pipes. For some reason, metal tastes weird, and wooden ones bother me, cuz they can get dirty. Glass are cool, no taste, and clean. That's just my opinion.

Acrylic plus fire equals a nasty hit.

I use small glass spoons for my pocket piece. $20 at the local head shop. I usually break one every 6 mo or so. I would rather pay 20 for 6 months of glass hits over the others.

I think my local shop has mostley glass at least it did the last time I was in. Its run by coke heads, but its the only one in the local area, besides everything in my town is run by coke heads. I am going there straight after work tomorrow to check it out. On wednesday I am going to go to this activity at my friends church and I figured I would go a little peaked, if I can't get a good pipe I will just bring the bong in for a day its not an enormous bother but its a bother.
