we have about 8 kinds of various stinging plants and thistles/nettles here...i have one out back that is about 6 feet tall..it would put you in the hospital if you stumbled on it

its just a green leafy plant with little poisonous stinging hairs / barbs on it. you brush into it and it stings the shit out of you. i got into one once, but just enough to know what it felt like. one place where i ride has a lot of them apparently because a few of my friends have gotten into them.. one in particular was pretty bad. pain lasts about 15 minutes or so from what i've seen.

they are also edible when cooked which is weird.. i've never eaten them

this is a close up of the 6 footer below it..these are the hardest to extract cause you cannot see them

 

use sticky duct tape, or wax that removes hair. heat wax, apply wax. rip out thorn and hair. duct tape should work with less hair removal.
