don't they usually warn against using it in the bikini area? I mean.. what if it hit the membraney part of yourself, wouldn't that be bad? Sorry, the creams just sound a little too scary for me to be putting there.

have you thought about waxing? i didn't read this thread really carefully someone might have already said that... but i like that much better, and it grows in less and less with time so you have to do it less and less often.

do it yourself if you can stand pain, and causing yourself pain hehe. get it done professionally if not :) they're much quicker than you'll be, and it'll be over in a second instead of being the much longer process of doing it yourself. :)

but as far as shaving, once your skin gets accustomed to it, from my experience, everything is peachy! if i only do it every once in a while, it is much more irritated. but if i do it regularly, it's fine. i just use soap. oh and they have these tiny razors now, that are made just for the crotch-al area, they work sooo well for getting into that small space.

    gooood luck! :)

As a male I shave .I can't help it.I have just got to be smooth.Yes you can get ingrowing hairs.Rash is less of a problem these days.If you haven't shaved recently then it is best to get most of the hair with sharp scissors. Then use a SINGLE blade razor never a twin a twin blade one intended for a man's face.Bic do single blade razors.I buy the ones for sensitive skin.Shaving cream or soap is good. After drying yourself off- you need to take a shower or bath afterwards to wash away the loose bits of pubic hair- talc is good to applied.

As a male, on Women, my preference is for one extreme or the other.

hmm if I can't wax I use a deplitory and don't trim or do anything with the hair that's close to my parts. I don't think that usually needs trimming anyway.

Cut close with scissors, shave slowly, enjoy the process and the guys will come running!

shaving is great! I was going to get a Brazllian recently but the pain of just getting me legs waxed made me decide against it! I shave using conditioner, warm water and a sharp razor. Its best also not to do it every day as that causes major razor burn .:p

im not big into shaving down there, but when i do (for a treat for my boyfriend) i jsut use my electric razor. prevents alot of razor burn and discomfort. i would recommend investing in one of those if u are really lazy and dont like to shower all the time in the summer but still wanna be smooth. it really works!!!!
    peace and love

i'm not really big into shaving down there but i've found that for what i do, handmade soap (preferably rose scented!) is the only thing that doesnt make me itch like crazy. i've tried conditioners and lotions, etc.

I only tried shaving down there once, and while I enjoyed the increased sexual stimulation, it's just way too big of a pain in the ass to do it regualrly. I'll trim it with scissors, but shaving is just exhausting. I don't even shave my legs or armpits, so to shave down there isn't really convenient. I like it natural, and so does Corwin, heehee...

But yeah...it itches like hell when it grows back.

BUT... I think Nair sells a depilatory made especially for "sensitive areas". Might wanna check that out :)

    Um... good luck? Hehehe :p

trim fisrt before getting in the shower that way you dont have as much to shave off. use a good razor like a mac 3 mens razor. use a good shave vream or conditioner shave...and condition again. extra conditioning helps not get razor burn

OMG! I wish I could shave down there! I m 7mos pregnant and huge bellied. I was an avid shaver before I got so big. My advise is to usethe new Noxema little razors, from walmart? they are real tiny amnd good for tight spots. Use a Mach3 razor for large areas. I use deoderant afterwards, Secret. Its an old strippers trick. None of these products fitr into my organic/crunchy lifestyle, but something has to give when it comes to down there. So jealous.... wish I could shave w/out making a mess/ falling over. good luck.

I shave using conditioner and have never had a problem...

I have used the hair removal cream and it was bad news on my sensative skin...so if you ware willing to try it out be prepared. No matter what brand I used it would burn and somtimes bleed. So I went back to shaving, I don't like harsh products like that around my parts anyway. :)

    Good Luck.

yes... their are special hair removal kits JUST for your vagina... but even if you use regular hair removal it works and it's good for down there..

deodorant? like underarm deodorant? (how do you spell deodorant anyway..) I'm picturing myself with my spray on stuff..It doesn't seem to fit in my head lol.

I wanted a brazilian but I don't know anywhere around here that'll do it, and I don't like the idea of anyone I don't know down there! I shaved for a while but I just got too itchy and got red bumps, so I'll try some of the stuff in the thread :)
