Really should be able to choose multiple answers... it takes longer than 10 years to grow up. I was born in the 50's and turned 18 in the 70's so anywhere in between those three decades would apply. See what I mean? I was a kid in the 60's if that's what you mean...
I was born in 1960. I was only 3 1/2 when JFK was assassinated but I remember my mom standing in front of the t.v. crying and telling me that someone had shot and killed the president. That's the first newsworthy event that I remember.

A teen in the 80s My first motorbike was a 1972 Honda 250E Thats the first thing that came to mind with the phrase grow up, the instant boost of freedom that came with it. Loved that bike. It was pretty huge for a 250 6 years later I totalled it over correcting on a country road
Back Then All My Friends Rode Honda 750 Fours.... GLEN Being The Rebel He Was, And Still Is, Bought Himself A Kawasaki 900, Z1-B. Still Have It In Storage, Just In Case I Find My Long Lost Youth.... Cheers Glen.
