of course there are street dealers in california still. I just prefer to go to the dispensary with my friend and know that i am getting high quality bud for 10 bucks a gram sometimes rather then always pay 20 to some gangster on the street. And yes people without cards still get busted but if you get caught with 28 grams or less its just a 100 dollar ticket and thats all

 

i went to the european deli and bought double smoked ham and some hungarian sausage....i would have bought mexican salami but i dont trust beaners

 

i didnt mean to imply that street is the way to go...i just wonder how long till the illegal boys drop prices to better compete with the legal ones....someone at some point will figure out that price is the only reason people do anything anymore

 

I cant see the street dealers lowering prices anytime soon. When i would buy off the street a year ago they would try to pull the "oh i got the best shit but its 25 a gram" garbage. The shit i got last night would easily have been 40 on the street but got it for 20 at the dispensary

its california! 20 is the highest you pay for a gram. they also have 15 and 10 dollar grams.

 

I've never paid more than $10/gram and it's top shelf shit. weird that with so much weed in california, it's so expensive.

I'd pay a little more to have the luxury of walking into a building with a huge variety (compared to the constant supply of kush + the odd exotic strain dealers have here). +all the oils, bubble hash, edibles. Right now since I'm not growing and only grabbing 1/2zs and ozs it works out between $50-70 a gram when I make BHO. You can get grams of BHO at cali dispensaries from $30-70/gram. I'd just like to be able to go pick one up if I don't have time to make my own or no one is around with nugs.

 

yeah the convenience would be nice. i usually get a pretty decent selection as long as i'm willing to wait a week or two.

 

What are the age restrictions to buying medical marijuana there? Is it the same as alcohol, 21? 21 is so old to just buy alcohol, here it's only 19.. And 18 in most other provinces

 

not most provinces, i think just alberta and quebec? but i'm not sure.

 

I think you need to be 18 to get your card and supposedly it's pretty easy to get in Cali.
