Anyone ever had this stuff? To me, it's as good as real homemade gelato. It's the best thing you can find in the ice cream section of your grocery store (if they carry it). It's 1000 times better than ice cream.
Is it dairy-free...dairy-free gelato's are awesome...there was a brand I really loved, but I don't remember it. Also if you're in Phoenix you probably have been to the best gelato shop in the U.S.
Found the pic online. It's not dairy-free. Not sure how dairy-free gelato would taste. Are you a dairy-free person, Mera? Honestly, I try to avoid it, but sometimes I like ice cream and cheese.
I've had tons of dairy-free gelato's. I used to think gelato was automatically dairy-free. I've had problems with dairy since I was like 5. Yeah...I've had very little of it, except when I was a pizza freak in high school.
In other dessert news...if you want to make a chocolate box cake and you don't wanna use eggs just put in peanut butter...I made a cake for the chatroom the other night and it totally worked...you can't even taste the peanut butter.
So your gelato is not dairy-free? Also, I've always wondered what pistachio desserts taste like...is it salty or sweet or both?
No, it's not dairy-free. Only the Talenti sorbetto is dairy-free. The flavor of pistachio deserts is impossible to describe if you've never had it. It's weird, because I've had real pistachios, and they really taste nothing like pistachio ice cream/pudding/etc.
Yeah I eat pistachios every now and then and can't imagine a dessert flavored after them. I will probably never know... At the gelato shop I used to go to almost all the flavors were dairy-free. They had like 6 dairy flavors...chocolates & stuff.
