so, that's where you & us differ.
it's not all about smoking pot and protesting.
i mean, yeah, we do it.
but i see hippism as a lifestyle.
a simplified lifestyle in which everything makes sense.
it's the freedom to express who you are.
and by not becoming corporate-conformed, you earn that "special" freedom.

oh and, um, most of us hippies are actually quite intelligent.
you think we'd be dumb from lack of brain cells.
but, fortunately for us, we're not.
we are inspired by the music and linguistics of the 60s.
we are poets, musicians, artists, painters, writers, etc.
the artistic way of life is more fun than a life of geometric squares and black and white drab, excuse me while i dismiss that drag of limitations.

and we have been enlightened and re-opened that other part of our brain that constitutes for the things that most people cannot tap into without the use of psychedelics or some serious astral planing training.

so, think again before you harp on us for being dirty or uneducated.

I don't know. I'm watching deadliest catch on the discovery channel and just got done listening to a Jerry Garcia Band acoustic set. I'm probably going to get some breakfast or brunch or something and split/deliver some firewood todayyyy.

I'm probably going to do some tree planting soon, once April rolls around. I miss being able to smoke a J and work at the same time. And I totally just dropped one on the floor.

 

ahhh i dropped one while i was outside yesterday.
my friend came over and it was such a beautiful day outside.
and we put a blanket out on the grass in the backyard.
and rolled joints and smoked cigarettes and smoked our Js.
it was wonderful, lol, i love afternoons like that.
we were just talking and i started to lay down
and there was a bug flying around my face (1/2 of a lovebug).
and my friend kept staring at the lovebug and was trying to tell me about it.
and i was looking in the bug's direction and in the sky, i saw a plane soaring across.
and it was leaving it's white trail behind it and everything.
and i told my friend, "hey, look it's a plane".
and she thought i was referring to the bug that was flying in one spot by my eye.
and i got up and laughed for a really long time.
and i sat up and pointed to where the plane actually was.
and she felt stupid and i told her it was okay, i should have elaborated more.
i love afternoons like that!

 

i really want to listen to the pizza tapes.
but alas, i left that CD at my dad's house.
