I just brought my cat, Miko to her new home. I got her from a shelter as a kitten and she's never been outside, and only ever known the house she grew up in, so naturally, she's a little freaked out right now. Here she is hiding under the bed: Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
I got one that was going to the pound and she hid for the first couple of weeks and then slowly started coming out. She's fine now as Miko will be.
I knew she would be fine, it only took about half an hour for her to start exploring. She's still a little skittish, so I'm just giving her space.
She's pretty much back to normal now. Still a little leery of the new noises, but she's not hiding any more than she normally used to.
aww what a cute cat Rocky is a pretty nervous cat, he runs and hides when people come over, sometime he will come down, if he is in the kitchen eating and he hears a loud noise he runs out
I've been through this too: moved and had the cat freak out like that. Not sure if she's an indoor-only cat or not, but don't let her outside for a few more days. She needs to imprint on the scent of her new home a little longer.
