Methylone (bk-MDMA) is similiar to mdma. Its a lot more stimulating than euphoric I find. Probably illegal unless you live in Canada.
Yeah, Methylone or Mephedrone are pretty much the closest things. Maybe 6-APB which is supposedly a little trippy to. I can't speak from experience though seeing how I have yet to try it.
6-APB is the closest imo. 5-APB is even closer in terms of empathy/loved up feelings but is lacking in the euphoria department unless combined with a stimulant, since there's very little dopamine release. Methylone and Mephedrone are more potent dopamine reuptake inhibitors than MDMA which functions primarily by release and so this is why they have a bit of a coke-like feeling to them as well as the feeling of rolling. Great fun but not as close to MDMA imo. 6-APB is an MDA analogue, and feels much closer to MDMA, albeit a little less empathic, significantly more stimulating, longer lasting, and has some light visuals. 6-MAPB is also a winner, and it's the MDMA analogue equivalent of 6-APB, but I've not seen the real thing for sale anywhere yet.
