Tonight, the USA landed "Curiousity" Rover on the surface of mars.

    At 1:42 AM eastern time, America landed the curiousity rover on the surface of mars. It is equipped with an organic lab that will test the surface to see if mars was ever able to sustain life. Peace and love guys!

    Flash forward to the not so distant future....

    Mars is colonized with mining operations that ship valuable resources back to earth. Earth, in turn sends much desired products to Mars for the colonies to consume. Earth puts a luxury tax on some consumables that the colonists think is unfair, the colonists jettison a shipload of Tang into space out of protest. Earth sends in the military to control the space ports. The colonies all meet and draft a document asserting their independence......

    Did anyone see the video recreation of how it landed? It's interesting how they designed the decent.
