i got one of those, except mine is signed by dan aykroyd. and havent opened it yet.. but i have another one.. and its like.. half way done. lol
I only started drinking beer after I went to Germany. Now it's pretty much all I drink. I like New Zealand beers - in particular Monteiths Pilsners.
damn if i knew it was beer day i would have cracked open one of my good bottles. to the people talking about abv, i have a bottle of sink the bismark that is 41% so even if a LIIT is higher in abv thats only because it has more liquor's in it. hell if you were trying to act manly like you are coming off as you can just say you drink everclear shots. i have had beers that taste like everything from folgers coffee to cherry candy. so if you havnt had a beer you like you just havnt found the right one.
Haha weird, I never knew Magic Hat #9 came in a can until my girlfriend told me a few days ago that her cousin drinks it like that (she's in the South for a bit). She hates it in the bottle but said the can was way different and much better. I love it in the bottle, so I'd really like to try in a can. Harpoon rye IPA is pretty good, always a go-to. Wish I had known about beer day! Am in total agreement with pensfan, you're bound to find a beer you LOVE if you explore. I am positive that I haven't found my favorite yet, and may not for a long time. I'm doing my best to search, though Beer is good.
I thought Magic Hat #9 was the shit back in 2005. Now I just think it's shit. I suppose there are worse beers, though. And yeah, a lot of craft breweries are offering their beers in cans. Sierra Nevada is doing the same thing.
i have to agree with that, magic hat makes some good ones but they make just as many meh ones. i have only had one bad beer from bells brewery and have had mostly good beers from troegs.
