I'm 18, and want to go to europe. I'm not someone with lots of money that can rent a house and stuff like that. I'd like to just backpack and see what europe has to offer. The thing is I don't know where to start. I'd just like to hear what people with experience from backpacking in europe have to say. I need a full noobie guide to backpacking in europe basically... so any links, or advice is much appreciated. Hopefully will be able to live my dream with your help! Also, it'd be great to have some people to travel with. Seeing as all my friends took the college/university route, I'll have nobody to travel with, and it'd probably get lonely. So if anyones interested, feel free to send an email, or add me. Jaredarsenault@hotmail.com. Doesn't mean I have to go at the end of the summer, I'm flexible, I can go at the start of next summer or whenever works best for you!
Thanks. I've been talking to a buddy of mine, and he also wants to go visit Europe.. then we got talking about moving there, start a life there, totally got interested in that idea!! But there's so many different countries/cities to choose from.. I'd like to do some reaserch about different areas of Europe, but don't know where to start, so hopefully some of you guys can give me some suggestions on good places to live.(Not jumping into things, just looking for suggestions so I can start researching.. without suggestions I wouldn't know where to start!) What I'm looking for in a place to live : Lots of beauty in nature. (Moutains, lacs, rivers, trees, etc.) Not in the middle of no where... I want to be able to go to some raves/bars, etc. A place that I can live happily economicaly... I only have a grade 12 diploma, but I'm really not looking forward to going back to school, it's really not my thing, and have no intrest in it. Friendly! That's very important for me, I love having a positive atmosphere, makes living every day so much happier, easier and funner! Right now this is all a dream, but I hope I can make it happen and live this dream. Thank you.:2thumbsup:

Hello PhyreTrukk, I can help. Maybe you will enjoy: Füssen and Neuschwanstein, Germany. 2 hour train from Munich. Very good beer hall Hofbrauhaus, nightlife, old city etc.. Salzburg and Mittersill, Austria Nuremberg, Germany. Zakopane, Poland Kiev, Ukraine Yalta, (Crimea) Ukraine Bakhchysaray, (Crimea) Ukraine (must visit Chufut-Kale, the view is the greatest...) Ask for more. If you will say, how much money you will take? How long this trip you would like to be? Western Europe can be very expensive. Money can last VERY much longer for you in Ukraine. For example: bottle of vodka, 20 hryvnia (£1.50). Please know, Ukraine it is a beautiful country, but have extra care. Again, ask for more, information, photographs from my visit, etc.. Maybe if you would like to visit Russia, certainly I can help.
I'm 19 and thinking about doing the same thing except I plan on dropping out of college and then leaving around September. I pretty much have a set plan already. Good luck with your trip man, should be a great experience.
Alone? Have fun, be safe. If you need advice, information, I can help. Berlin is fantastic. I visit, explore ghost town's over the world - I do not think you care, but 2 excellent are 1 hour from Berlin, West and East: Vogelsang Gransee and Beelitz-Heilstätten.
Yes alone. That seems very cool I'd love to see those, but I'll be on a strict budget so I don't think I will be able to see them. But I do have a few questions I'll pm you.
Okay, How PM does work, here? I see nothing. It is not problem, either to e-mail - koryssa1984@aport.ru
Yes, njlax I am correct (I can not yet have the PM access). Send questions to my e-mail, I will reply this same day.
I have friends in hungry that want me to visit but probably won't get to make it. I admire anyone who can travel the world.
Really did you really admire those who can travel ?...It's not really my opinion because many of those who travel the world are rich or their budget is really large... personally i don't admire rich people... but i can "admire" those who try to do it with a limited budget...and always have a plan to go further at their next destination...
