Morning Jack. Enjoy your coffee. :coffee: I am not crazy about cars either but we don't have public transportation where I live.
I'm just waiting for the sun to go over the house and create some shade and then I'm going to attack the 10 foot weeds in the garden. Some of them are fierce!
I moved into a house with a garden like that once. I knew there were plants somewhere but it was just too big an area so I borrowed a scythe and cut the whole lot down and started again. It was at least 3 years though before I had it how I wanted with the veg and animals out the back, shrubs and japanese trees at the side and rock plants in the front (north facing) I wish you luck!
We have a more or less English cottage garden, but with all the rain we've had this year, the weeds have gone mad. And because I've been sorting the house out, I couldn't face going out there weeding in the rain. But today the weather reminds me of California, and I don't want to leave a jungle for the new buyers, so I better get on with it.
Yeah, but I bet once you get out there it'll be fine. Thinking about it is always worse than actually doing it! Enjoy!
Back inside now, it was hotter than hell out there and I'm bleeding from fighting with the brambles. Not even nearly done, but it does look a bit better now. A cold glass of apple juice, I think!
Welcome to the happy hippie house wyldwynd - that is if you haven't been here before.I don't know - I haven't read through the thousands of posts posted from when Kenny started this crazy trip...
