Do you lean left or right, communist or fascist, socialist or libertarian? Take the test and see where you really are. http://politicalcompass.org/test I came out a smidgen to the left of the Dali Lama. I can live with that.
I don't believe in those political spectrum tests that try to pigeonhole someone within a false paradigm. Seems silly and pointless to me. I am against all government and politics, so I cannot play the game.
Aw gee whiz, we were all waiting with such anticipation for you. After all, you ARE the most narcissistic ego poster.:troll:
Me too. I'm not sure how accurate this thing is, since it rated me as more liberal on economic issues than social issues (-6.50 & -3.23). That's not the way I see myself. My views on financial debt are quite conservative, which they didn't ask about. I have a slight problem with the survey's lack of a center option on the questions, for 'Undecided' or 'No Opinion'. On some controversial issues, I can honestly see both sides. It's okay to have no firm opinion on a few complex things that have little or nothing to do with your own life. Nobody can be an expert on everything. I also noticed the link (at the bottom) to Mitt Romney's official web site, which may explain why so many of the questions require black or white answers about issues where many shades of gray exist. Conservatives have trouble seeing shades of gray. But I do agree with the basic assertion that the economic left and right spectrum is a separate thing from the social left and right.
I wouldn't care if you said i was left. I believe in carrying firearms sure. I don't take either of those political side. If you said i was umbrella, or coconut, I would still give you the same answer.
I always test as a libertarian. But I'm really a Democrat. I always test Libertarian because I believe people should be able to legally make choices regarding their own personal bodies. Such as the freedom to smoke pot, use shrooms, prostitution, LGBT marriage and issues and abortion rights. I believe in very little government interference in personal lives, and heavily influenced in other areas. Like heavy governmental influence in taking care of our nations poor, disabled and veterans. Heavy governmental influence in EPA regulations, better education, roads, libraries and I think healthcare should be free. Because to me, the right to the pursuit of happiness is to be healthy. And there's no reason why good, life saving medicine should be so expensive people who need it can't afford it. I also support herbal medicine if it works, and the use of marijuana for many illnesses especially for cancer patients and people with MS. The use of mushrooms for cluster headaches as well without the threat of jail. So, that's where I stand. But I'm also very fiscally conservative in that I think we should use our money wisely and give it to the people, not the politicians. Plus, I'm very anti corporations and pro union. But I'm also for every business owner having the same opportunity to become rich, but against the unethical hoarding of money and making people at the bottom basically work as slave laborers. Corporations have no compassion for the people who work the hardest.
At least you didn't end up to the right of Hitler. lol He was in the upper right of the blue section along with Mussolini. Folks that test up there probably don't want others to know.
as you'd expect... with my larger degree common sense and understanding of the world around me :mickey: i'm neutral. in my opinion extremity is childish and any reasonable person would understand it is impractical.
