I just read that super gonorrhea has been found in the USA. This is the drug resistent strain. Getting it is a death sentence, so looks like that quiz posted I another thread is outdated telling people gonorrhea is curable.
LOL True (sort of). There is a form of gonorrhea that is resistant to meds but isn't un-curable yet. This is how it goes with bacterial infections. That's the reason you cant get those meds over the counter. Bactria changes so fast and can become resistant to all kinds of medication and over use makes them resistant. We're still OK when it comes to that because there are other treatments just not as easy as a shot or 3 pills. We still don't have to go there yet though. Love that you caught that though. I've written a paper on something similar.
Yeah, well these things should be mentioned. I'm just being super cautious, especially since not everybody can take those super harsh antibiotics treatments for reasons of being allergic to the medicine for example. Additionally, I read in medical journals the bacterium that causes super-gonorrhea is actually showing signs of being completely resistant to ALL current antibiotics available (prescription or otherwise) in some clinical trials. Have you heard differently when you wrote your paper on a similar subject?
