Just wondering if those of you that have had boys and girls have noticed distint changes in the differnt pregnancys. I have herd that because boys tend to be bigger than girls at birth, that the mom tends to eat more, but not gain the extra weight with boys. Also I was just wondering if you have ever herd old wives tells about how to tell if it is a boy or a girl. I think there is one with a weeding ring and a string, not sure what exactly it is though.. If you haven't figured it out yet I am very anxious to find out what my baby is. I have a sonogram Jan 14, but just not being patiant enough.

Boys, on average, are larger than girls at birth, but girls sit, crawl, walk and talk sooner. (This is actually true) When you get up in the morning, if you step first with your left foot, you will have a boy, your right, a girl. If someone asks to see your hands, and you show them your hands palm up, you are having a girl. If you show them palms down, a boy.
For myself it was completely different, im having a boy now annd hes always been very low. I dont have an appetite that much for anything weird. Im tired and def dont look as good as i did with my daughters birth.When i had her i was glowing and my hair and nails grew more. With my daughter i ate alot! My daughter weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and my son they est at 6 or 7 pounds. This time i eat reg like when i wasnt prego. I was moodier with my daughter, cried alot. way more sensitive to things. I think it all depends, each time is different for everyone. I used the chinese lunar calander for my first and it was right, but with this one it was wrong. So i guess its hard to tell......
my mother always says you dream the opposite of what you're having, so if you dream of little boys you'll have a girl, and if you dream girls you'll have a boy. when she was pregnant with me, she had a dream that she was nursing a little boy with red hair and it was hot out. Well, I was born in february, and a girl with no hair. Then when she was pregnant with my brother she dreamed girls, and had a red haired boy in august, so it turns out her dream with me was of my brother.
Well with my first I really wanted to have a boy. I was determined that we were haveing a boy. But I always dreamed that it was a girl. And I ended up with my beautiful daughter. Now I am dreaming of boys, so maybe my trend will continue. But if I look at my husbands record. He has already produced 2 girls, and no boys, but I am hopping for a boy, but I think my chances of having a girl are higher than having a boy.
The one Brighid mentioned with all the math seems to work every time (for me and everyone in my family at least) Dreams seem to be the best bet though; i dreamed about both of my kids before they were born. A couple of months ago, i even dreamed about a friend's baby (i was really relieved when i realized SHE was the mama, lol).
