If it was new, I'd say you're supporting china and their shitty plastic shit.... cause pretty much all hookahs in the US are cheap shit.

But if you bought it used, fucking cool man. Enjoy that. They're fun.

Well, I tried to snap a pic, but my comp is fucking up.. So I just found it online.

 

This is the incense burner.. Smoke comes out the holes and mouth.

 

I bet there's still nice ones for the locals.... but they're probably all becomming cheap shit too, like the rest of the world.

He probably got one made for tourists.

I'd love a quality one made in a more traditional style (some good lab glass companies have made nice ones, but that's less my cup O' tea, if I'm getting scientific glass I'd rather hit a nice bong) in such a way that parts are easily removable/replacable, cleanable, will last a long time, and all that good stuff..... but that sure as hell ain't what the local headshop has. Almost all of them that I've ever seen are designed for college freshmen, overcome with the novelty of being able to do all the forbidden things they want, to spend way too much money on and use like twice, then throw out at the end of the semester.

Badass chess set!

I have that same incense burner, but I don't really like it. It looks cool on the shelf, but most of the smell gets trapped inside. It doesn't allow the smoke to travel very well. I always end up burning with the cover off of it.

And if the magnets are still there, superglue those bitches in there because they fall out easy...
