ohhhhhhhh i love that movie.... i get so excited when it comes on ...my favourite scene is the hippie part where they are all gathered and he meets up with Jenny....lol.. how i love hippies...i love seeing everyone there it just makes me want to be there sooooo much. ok it's probably not my favourite scene, but i still like it a lot.. jeez gump did WAY too much and had WAY too many accomplishments.lol.. and that's all i have to say about that..
fellow Forrest Fan here! The music really helped set the mood for the movie. I love it! I used to have the soundtrack but it got lost somewhere on down the road...
if you liked the movie, read the book!!!!!!! there is so much more in the book about him and jenny, and how he played harmonica in her band and smokes pot LOL the book rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Forrest Gump. I saw that film in the theatre at least 4 times. have you read "The World According to Garp"? It kind of reminds me of Forrest Gump. Well, maybe they don't have a whole lot in common, but one always makes me think of the other.
But duznt anyone think that forrest gump is americas way of saying as long as your white (bubba dies - BLACK MAN!) you can achieve anything, even if you are as think as two short planks?!?!!! My english teacher told me all this, but i personally think the film is easy watching wen u ave nothing better to do lol!! ~Vindicated~
i love forrest gump, its such a good movie. I love the music in it of course, the part when bubba dies is so sad gary sinise is really good in that movie
I was talking to my mum about that movie today. She doesnt remember any of the scenes so I was telling her about the part when Forrest make up the 'shit happens' phrase and the smily face sign We were laughing pretty hard lol... I had to remind her to keep her eyes on the road while driving....
"Lieutenant Dan, brought you some Ice Cream.... LIEUTENANT DAN... ICE CREAM" That must be one of the best movies around. Tom Hanks is a genius.
i think that that's stupid. just because a black guy dies and a white guy gets rich doesn't mean that that's what the film is about. there are no black people in donnie darko does that mean that only white people can go crazy and see people in rabbit costumes?
