ok i am a one bowl a day smoker... i am going into an interview this friday for an MTA train conductor position. Now i know i will not be drug tested right then and there but def. will along the process.... my question is can i smoke like one bowl a week and then 2 weeks before the test stop smoking???? i know the smart thing is to not risk it but if i do get this job, ill never be able to smoke ever again. knowing that i kind of want to drag it out as long as possible
Why would you never be able to smoke again? Once you pass the per-employment test it's likely you will never be tested again unless you are injured on the job.
Yeah when I first got hired at my job I got drug tested, smoked 3 days beforehand and still passed. It was one of those oral tests though that apparently only detect very recent drugs in your system? Idk, seems like it really sucks if I passed, and I was tested on surprise, so I wasn't even looking to pass the test beforehand or anything.. Then after I passed that, never been drug tested again. I can smoke all I want! The only reason they will ever test me again is if they're suspicious of drug activity, but that doesn't really happen if you do your job well
