hi im australian...however i have not been back to the place for about 8 years....or longer...i left the country in an angry state as i had a bad time there before i left....today i live in mexico...which is not easy concidering the problems we have here in mexico....its so different from australia....but you know i like the social attitudes better...its really different to the usa or england western europe or australia....things are really out in the open here....so it can get a bit raw....but all in all i like it better. any other australians had a similar experience?
Hi ink, Id love to get away from this screwed up ozzie society. How did you get approval to stay in mexico? Id jump on the first plane out of here if I could. Ive spent 6 months in south america(Argentina) a few years ago and must say it's one of my favorite countries Ive traveled to out of roughly 20 countries Ive been to. Such beautiful people. Its a great country Oz but Im sick of the money hungry goverment and thier evil ways. Way to many money orientated people in this country unlike south america. All about family and friends and good times not hard work and money. Look forward to reading your reply! adios amigo
I would have to say that there are many different social economic groups in Australia and is is a question of finding, the type that suits you. I cannot agree with the mindset of many city people, although there are some enlightened city people.
