I was like ten and I was in his face and he got so mad he spit on me and so I started screaming at him and he did it again and then I felt turned on and he did it again and again and I dunno why but it felt good. I don't know why I didn't like hit him I think a part of me wanted to like kiss him and I knew if I hit him that wouldn't happen. I dunno no one saw and no one but y'all and I guess him knows this ever happened.

    Looool.

Now they'd arrest your little-kid ass for terroristic something-or-other :p

But yeah, if you make it hurt everyone, mob justice or fear of it will stop bullying quite quickly.

Some people are raised or brought up to turn the other cheek, or at least violence is bad and should never be condoned. Imagine the fuck'd up world they go through when they start getting bullied? I actually thought being nice and ignoring it would work.

Had my parents and society not given me mixed signals I would have punched the shit out of the kid that 1st day on the bus with no regrets, and I'd glady go back in time to do it because I now see that was the only and the perfect solution lol.

Girls get turned on by abuse from a dominant male... even if it's disrespectful, it's exciting and a turn-on.. great.

Unfortunately bullies come in all shapes and ages. People like Todd Akin who recently "misspoke" when talking about "legitimate rape" has no clue about the damage his words do to the millions of women who experienced rape. The fact that people with this kind of mindset are creating laws just boggles the mind. Attached is an excellent letter written by Eve Ensler in response to his statements.

I do feel for the OP video and others posted about bullies effects on children. Some of those bullies grow up to be idiots of a different kind.

I just don't understand why they need to resort to killing themselves, haven't they ever heard of just switching schools...?

I understand your self esteem and confidence may be destroyed after years of bullying so it could be hard for some, but this girl was smart and even knew herself she was bright and had a good future ahead of her, her suicide note made her sound intelligent enough to realise there were other ways out. Her, and many others, should know there are more ways to deal with this rather than suicide.

I have a feeling there is more behind this than just bullying... We were barely even given any details about the bullying itself, it just said some guy got everyone to start calling her fat and ugly, and she obviously wasn't fat and even not that bad looking. She even had a boyfriend. She got straight A's and was good at tons of shit it seems, i got all C-'s and even flunked out of a few classes and can't do anything good, yet i know suicide wasn't the best option... so how didn't she?

*EDIT* I think it was selfish as hell of her to kill herself, with two younger siblings, parents, and friends that obviously cared about her. Her poor sister or brother (i forget) that found her hanging in the basement is going to be traumatized for life! Not to mention the rest of the family that obviously came down to see what the fuck was going on. That's just fucked up. Doesn't anyone ever think about the people she left behind? Her ex-boyfriend is probably going to be thinking it was because he broke up with her, for the rest of his life he's probably going to be thinking he should have stayed or done something different. And all her friends, she had fucking friends?! Obviously she wasn't bullied that badly if she had friends!

I felt really bad for her at first but now i just feel pissed off for some reason lol... stupid ass people, she had everything and just fucked it up. She would have graduated and left all this shit behind and would have done something amazing. But ohno... that was just to difficult apparently. So she had to end her life and hurt so many more.

oh ya,, totally.. all they did then was give me 3days suspension and make me pay for tires. which my family never did.
I was never bothered again.. this was 9th grade Langley High School.

Another time the knife came in handy. this pedo called Green Ear tried to grab me. He set a trap for students to pick something up near his property and catch them. He left a bookbag on the side his building in an alley. when I went to pick it up, this scary monster dude with a green ear grabbed me. I quickly cut him on the hand and arm and he let me go. the police come to my house cause he chased me in a car. and I smashed my books in to the drivers window when he pulled up next to me. nothing come of it. but I told the cops he was chasing me. i was 13.

i know the thread is about bullies but i think this girls suicide was more from depression than from being bullied.

i don't think you 'get' suicide. she didn't sit down and rationally think about this... she was obviously depressed and in her mind, at the time, it was the only option.

The common assumption is that bullying ends when you leave school. This is not always the case.Bullying and victimization can continue into adult life - at the workplace and in society generally.

I dunno if it was abuse or the fact that I was covered in a bodily fluid and it was wam and sticky on my face that turned me on. But I was just saying people deal with bullying differently. I'd rather be a freak who gets turned on by it than dead.

that is true, i can say for myself though that i took graduation as a new start.
i wasnt going to let anyone treat me like they did in school ever again.
the reason i would just take it in school was the fear of getting beat up worse or instead of just verbal abuse.
i had just decided if i have to take a few lumps as an adult i would do it to prevent that stuff from happening again.
luckily for me the bullying did stop pretty much completely since graduation day.

Yeah I don't see people being bullied anymore since hs ended I only know bullying through the tv. I would be stunned to see it in real life at my age and I wouldn't know what to do. I guess the only incident of bullying since hs was a few years ago I went to this like karaoke bar place in Chinatown and two of my friends got shit faced so we decided it was time to go. As we were leaving the bouncer was telling this guy to leave this other guy alone I dunno maybe they were figting or what ever. So one guy said something I didnt hear and I doubt my friends did either but they thought they had been insulted. So they chase this poor guy down the street and just start beating him and I freaked out I was all like leave him alone. They let him go and me and my other friends told him to go the fuck home he was like crazy drunk lost all sense. But yeah nothing more then that I guess.

In college, I saw a few guys being a little too hard on each other, but everybody left the girls alone. The guys had learned not to mess with the group that controls 100% of the pussy on earth. :D

There is plenty of backstabbing going on in the business world, but the worst of it is always behind your back (which is why they call it backstabbing, duh). Nasty face-to-face exchanges rarely amount to much.

Years ago, I never heard of young bully victims killing themselves. Maybe it's because suicide has gone more mainstream, or because electronic harassment goes 24/7, or maybe it's a little of both at work here.

old people can be really mean to each other. My great-aunts were always absolute witches to each other, with the more able of the 4 of them being the meanest.

You're right but you seem to be forgetting the outcast. In that same social group there’s invariably someone who doesn’t conform to the accepted norms and is chastised for being different.

It’s the responsibility of the group to help the individual conform and maintain the status quo.
