Things should get interesting in Tampa.

For the past three months, property owner Joe Redner, has been allowing Occupiers to use Voice Of Freedom Park. He supports the Occupiers but due to pressure being put on him by the city, he has struck a deal with the city to have them gone by Sept. 15th.

It should get really interesting in Tampa during the GOP Convention next week. The sheriff of Hillsborough County has emptied a 1,700 bed prison in Tampa in expectation of housing arrested protesters.

In a letter posted on a county website the sheriff said:

" To the agitators and anarchists who want only to bring a dark cloud to this event, let me be clear: criminal activity and civil disturbances will not be tolerated and enforcement actions will be swift."

"The confrontation was not caused by the police. The confrontation was caused by those who charged the police. Gentlemen, let's get this thing straight, once and for all. The policeman is not here to create disorder. The policeman is here to preserve disorder."

Richard J. Daley after the 1968 Democratic National Convention

Watch for it... ain't gonna be pretty.

Back then i didn't see what going against the man was going to get us. I knew to go my own way away from them and not give them the satisfaction of my presence to bash. I moved back then to humboldt county Calif with thousands of others and we grew herbs and veggies and i started a recycling center and lived peacefully together. If more people would stay away from the powers to be they would have no power.

He was there at the convention as an observer... but I think it was earlier that he was stomped by the Hell's Angels.
