Um, the real reasons I don't support our president are not simply based on the creepy way his vice president looks.

I do not support this war we are in. I believe its purpose is not to help anyone in Iraq, but to help our president and his hidden agenda.

That would obviously be the biggest reason... him putting people's lives at risk for an unjust cause. But I also am strongly against any changes to the Constitution banning gay marriage. I don't feel like I even need to explain why, it just shouldn't even be an issue.

Well, there's more...but, surprisingly, I don't know everything about everything...

I'm not down with the whole giving-programs-that-teach-abstinence-is-the-only-contraception-170-million-or-billion-I-don't-remember-which-one-thing.

And I'm really not down with him bringing Christian issues into the oval office. There is a reason for the separation between church and state, and he has never honored that.

Well I'm not American so I'll say why im not Conservative or Liberal, which is basically our Republicans, just not soo right-wing/Christian...

1. Privatization of Healthcare- why should peple have to pay to get better, whats next making peoiple pay for air
2. AntiGays- They are people too...
3. The "Screw the east" mentality- We need more than Alberta oil to function buddies
4. Stealing Our Money- Our PM, [former finance minister] while minister either lost millions of dollars of taxpayer money or he stole it...so either he is very very bad at his job, or a criminal and a liar...
5. [In alberta] The little value they place on Education- oh so we have no debt with our rich province, to bad we have no teachers or books...

Don't forget that Bush has also bashed Canada for not supporting the "war" in Iraq... he acts like you're enemies now.

 

He also said there is no way to thank a country for doing what countries did for the states after sept 11, yet he thanked every country EXCEPT canada...

The "beef ban" hurt us lots, and the help from the feds [Liberals] didn't do diddly...off topic, for all you veggies, if you are afraid of horomones in beef, in Alberta, possibly Canada, we cannot put horomones oin our meat, antibiotics yes, but horomones no [im almost completly positive of this]

for anyone who caught Paul martin on Wolfblitzer, most canadians do hate bush and the kinds of things he stand for, the actions of a few to reflect on most of the country...if i lived ion otowa, i would have skipped school to protest...

yeah well theres everything that all of you have already said but one of the things that pisses me off the most is how hypocritical he is
he doesnt enforce stricter regulations for car companies and yet his ranch in texas is so ecologically friendly
theres all sorts of things on his ranch like solar panels and such i cant remember it all right now but his ranch is doing its part to help the environment yet he allows car companies to keep on polluting our air
most presidents have enforced stricter regulations for car companies when they get into office not by a lot but a little which makes all the difference he has not
he doesn’t even acknowledge Canada which really pisses me off consider the amount of trade we give the us

Burbot, i have had both canadian and american meats and canadian meats are sooo much better from the lack of what ever it is us americans put in our food.

Oh, what i can say for a reason why i don't like Bush, he doen't respect other faiths...His admin. allowed the federal funding to faith based help/support groups, but so far only Christian an a handful of Multifaith ones have been granted federal funding...this was a month ago i saw this ona History channel doc. but im sure it is still true today...
