Politics Forum Guidelines (Where they are different than the general forum guidelines)

As often stated this is not a bulletin board it is a place to debate politics.

For that reason cut and pasted articles or links should be used sparingly and more as a way to highlight a persons viewpoint rather than as a replacement for a persons viewpoint.

It's a video, and there's no reason for me to "state my viewpoints," these are my viewpoints.

    RON PAUL!
This is the first time in my life time that I've been excited for a politician, someone would I'd actually vote for.

Probably Bill Clinton, but I was just a kid, so this is exciting for me!

He's an establishment Republican who has remained in the party for years, and wants to destroy the EPA.

His proposals are the antithesis of liberty. The crush on him is bizarre.

The EPA should be eliminated!!! They take money from corporations and bribes from the pollutants of the world. They are not here to "protect" the envoirment. The EPA is Nixons middle finger to REAL envoirmental reform. This is one of the things that make me angry about liberals, the government can't be trusted to protect the envoirment and you ALL should know that by now!

What a absurd argument. *Sarcasm* Yeah, I don't like Obama cause he's black (even though my best friend is black.) It has NOTHING to do with his foreign policy, not shutting down Gauntanamo, passing unconstitutional laws and, prosecuting whistle blowers like Bradley Manning, Nope! I vote only based on the color of one's skin! *sarcasm*

That's not an argument . Just a statement of fact. I didn't say it applied to you. Settle down.

Not quite. As long as civilization continues extirpating life from the earth, there can never be liberty for all. And I do not think he is going to go that far. There is a possibility he would go further than any other politician. But it is very unlikely he will get that chance.
We must only rely on ourselves now. Take matters into our own hands.

Nice post 12. I like some of Pauls ideas. Frankly I think if he was more telegenic(better looking )he would've had a better chance. Sad,but that's kind of the way things work in this country. The 'surface' is what mostly counts and not the substance.

I'm a community organiser for an environmental non profit, and I do understand frustration to EPA. To take that to the extreme that it should be eliminated is nothing but a love letter to polluters. It's an insane idea.

People that don't like Ron Paul are proof that common sense isn't so common.

^^^Howz about this for "common sense' ...

Here's one reason RP is a dangerous fucking demagogue with all his 'liberty" bs...

Back in July Ron Paul and his son launched a little thing they called an "internet freedom campaign" which is basically anti net neutrality. They think regulating private service providers is an "affront to liberty" They don't think there's anything wrong with service providers sucking corporate dick having a monopoly on bandwidth.
