Has anyone heard of LSD having a taste?

So, a good friend of mine picked up some acid. Or what he was told to be acid. The way he described the trip to me, sounded like an LSD trip. However, he said it tastes horrible like cleaner or something. I've never known LSD to have any taste at all.

Has anyone ever heard of this?? I have a bad heart and I try to avoid RC, is this actually LSD?? and if not, do you know what it can be?

 

Some people say blotters can have a taste due to the ink and acid has a metallic after taste for me.

It could also potentially be an NBOME, Dox (Hey there STP) or a few other obscure chemicals.

 

I had some that tasted bitter once. I was told from my dealer it was because the chemical makeup of the product was slightly off, making it not actual LSD, but a derivative of some sort. The come up was a bit harsher but it felt generally the same as LSD. Maybe a little stronger.

 

Oh okay. Well the same friend tried DOC before and he said it wasn't like that. He described his trip, pretty much as an acid trip. With the waving and morphing and what-have-you. I don't really like messing with RC, should I avoid doing this altogether?

Sounds like most likely its a 25x-nbome. The effects are comparable to LSD.

That guy fed you a load of crap. Why would you ever buy something marketed as "not LSD"??

 

Is it a stimulant though? I really don't want to take anything that's not LSD, but I feel bad telling him that I don't want to take it. (he's pretty convinced it's LSD, even though I told him it shouldn't taste like that.)

 

The two I've tried don't seem to have any stimulant like effects. I've heard reports of certain problems with these chems, but I've never had any. I'd recommend trying some but keeping the doses low. The effects are quite enjoyable.

you shouldn't be fucking with RC that is sold as acid anyway. if it's RC sold as RC then atleast you know what you are getting.

Thanks EatlysergicAcid and Desos. I may take like 1/2 or something, see how it goes. maybe not, but I'm thinking I drop E a lot, without technically knowing what's in it. It's usually not pure MDMA.

 

Another thing to note, most people say that 25x-nbome are not orally active unless complexed, although the validity of this is debated, so one potential way of identifying it from acid is to swallow your hits right away and wait to see if you feel anything after a couple hours.

I've been trying to identify some sort of conclusive way to determine what is bitter LSD and what is 25x. I'll link to the discussion I started. There's some good information there and I'd love to get any further experiences documented there.

who cares. you cant trip on both.. whats the big deal.

its on blotter paper, Im a eat it. for one. there couldnt be enough of a single substance on ONE blot to make a difference. its when you clowns eat 2-3-4-5 when it becomes a problem. dont abuses psychedelics and you will not have that problem.

 

Whenever I get good acid I get this electric zing feeling when I put the blotter to my tongue.

 

i don't know why you feel bad. it's your body, you get to choose what goes in it. just tell him the taste sketches you out a little, and you can't shake it. even though it's probably L (this is what you could tell him), this bad idea in your head has set you up for a bad mind set. not the right time to trip.

i'm not sure how true what you said is of many psychedelics. they obviously "make a difference" since you trip. i bet you could fit a HEFTY dose of LSD on just one blotter. enough to make some people freak out a little.

actually, i heard of blotters that had 3 mg of 25x-nbome per blotter. that is a pretty high dose. is there any reason that 3 or even 1 mg of LSD couldn't theoretically fit on one blotter paper that weighs several milligrams?

things like bromo-dragonfly and 5-meo-amt can fit on blotter, and have some nasty side effects from what i've read.

never-the-less, it is of course safeR to eat one blotter instead of multiple ones.

the safety profile of LSD is pretty well documented
that of 25-x-nbome is VERY MUCH unknown.
