OK sometimes I rethink what I have been doing for whatever reason. I used the calender method, so during my fertile days (and last 3rd of period even) I use a condom. I hate birth control hormone crap. Sometimes I get paranoid I guess...want to stay kid free. Is this pretty safe for avoiding pregnancy? Or should I always make a guy wear a condom? Condoms suck.

I think if you're periods are dependably regular, this is a pretty safe method. I always had physical symptoms that accompanied ovulation so that made it even easier.

This has been my birth control method forever. And you can always keep a thermometer handy as well to see if you're ovulating.
