Hey,I've recently moved to the UK where shrooms are legal, but back home we had to eat them dried so I don't know how many fresh to take. They're beige capped with white caps ,closed caps and they look like little microphones. How much should I take for a mellow but buzzing high (I'm also taking my mate on her first trip tonight.

I guess it would depend on how fresh they are, and how much moisture they've lost.

Wet mushrooms weigh ten times as much as dry ones.

For a good visual journey I take about 8 fresh caps.

For a mild one, maybe 3. . .it really depends on the shrooms though. . .the concentration of psilocybin isn't the same in each cap, and they're a bit different wet than dry.

Sounds like they are "shop bought" dutch imports.
    I'd recomend 20 g each for a mild(-ish) experience.

If they are dutch imports, they can sometimes be a bit weaker than you would get if you bought from a UK home-grower. possibly due to extended refrigerated storage.

The legality of selling shrooms in the UK comes under the spotlight today as a shop owner is being charged in court for supply of Psilocin. The prosecution are trying to say that the packaging and refrigeration of the shrooms make them a product containing psilocin (which is illegal here - 7 years prison) as opposed to a natural un altered fresh shroom (which is legal here).

I know for a fact that 35 grams fresh is almost equivilant to 3.5 grams dried
