SO I use google chrome & I started noticing a couple of days ago when I start it up a second page opens called mystart-incredibar. I did not install it. I have come to find its is a type of adware-hijack software & aparently malewaye bytes is not picking it up so someone suggested spyboy search & destroy it pick it up & said it had removed it , but it didn't. I think this is also why I am having problems with utorrent as well. Now I am not great with all this stuff , but 99% of the time I can figure it out.

    Any suggestions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks :)

Oh I'd uninstall google chrome too before the scan, then reinstall later.

Can you go to your control panel, then to add/remove programs, and find it there?

there are some good online, on demand scanners, like bitdefender or house call, scans and removes.

there was a Java threat, maybe you got affected, it was a bad one. see what Java version you have, it was 7 which really had the problem, I think an update was issued for it.

Run a program called superantispyware (in safe mode if needed), uninstall your antivirus, install Avast. Also install Peerblock for Torrents.

utorrents is the problem...stop downloading dubious shit and lots of probs disappear.

    I don't even use anti-virus or anti-spyware, never have a problem.
But then again I run XP pro sp2 w/ no updates + Mozilla and only open downloaded files offline.

kaspersky is the best paid antivirus, while avira is the best free. People that make viruses use them both.
